Greetings quilters and Happy New Year!
I'm very excited to be back for more Quilt Block Mania this year! Our theme this month is "desserts" and there are several "sweet" blocks to try. Please be sure to scroll all the way to the bottom of this post to see the links to all the designers.
My block is called "Rainbow Spinkles" and is designed for those young and young-at-heart folks who cannot resist rainbow sprinkles on top of their dessert. Rainbow Sprinkles would make a lovely addition to your dessert or party themed sampler quilt. It would also be great to sew up one or a few blocks to use as a table decoration for your next celebration. It could be done in holiday colors such as purple and orange for Halloween; pink and red for Valentine's Day; or Red and Green for Christmas. I hope you have fun making up your version of my Rainbow Sprinkles block.

Here is the digital rendering shown in Kona Cotton solids Navy, Creamsicle, Pink, Meringue, Sky, and Mint. I must admit that sometimes I like to pick color based on the name. Fun fact: I also do that with nail polish too, haha!
